But after now really trying myself, I can say that it is wrong. I’ve followed Sebastian Koenig’s tutorial and believe I’ve installed Vray fine, since it works in Maya no problem.Īfter Laxy pointed out that not using spaces solved his problem, I just thought he’s right without questioning it. on a Mac Pro with Blender 2.49b and the latest Vray-Blender export script. Even if I start a new scene and test that Vray works, once I save that scene to a folder, Vray stops working all together. If I open up a saved scene, then render using the Vray script it doesn’t work at all. It renders at 800圆00 or higher, so I know that its not accessing a Vray demo version (that limited the res to 640x450) and my license dongle/software is running correctly as it works in Maya. But doesn’t accept any textures, generated, or otherwise. If I start a new scene, load up the Vray->Blender script, and render in Vray then it renders. I followed Sebastian Koenig’s tutorial for setting up Vray and got it working fine in Maya but for some reason I’m having problems in Blender. I’ve recently invested in the commercial version of Vray and want to use it in Blender.
